Meetings

The Robbinston Historical Society holds meetings on the first Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. from March through November.  Our meetings are held at the Visitors’ Center on Route 1 in Robbinston, Maine.  If you would like to volunteer or become a board member, please contact us or come to a meeting. Events

The Historical Society generally hosts 5 events each year to bring the community together and to raise funds for the organization’s operating expenses.  They are always lots of fun so please come join us for our next event.  Our usual events are as follows:

Maine Maple Sunday Pancake Breakfast – held the third Sunday in March across the state. Please join us for yummy pancakes, sausage and maple syrup from Robbinston producers.

Memorial Day Weekend Yard Sale – Friday and Saturday RHS holds its annual yard sale at the Visitors Center or the Robbinston Community Center. It is a giant affair that attracts folks from all around. Donation-based payment  for your treasures helps pay RHS pay its operating expenses.

Robbinston Residents Meet & Greet – On a June Sunday, we invite new and established residents to come meet each other and share information and stories about Robbinston’s history.

Robbinston Days – On the third Saturday in July we celebrate Robbinston with local music, free food, kids’ activities, bake sale and a Touch-A-Truck event. Come join your family, friends and neighbors for a fun day at the Robbinston Community Center.

Holiday Café & Bake Sale – Around Thanksgiving or early December, RHS hosts a chili and chowder café and bake sale with holiday yard sale items available too. Take-out and sit-in meals are available. Stop in while you are doing your local shopping and enjoy the company.
